- 27.2 pounds (99.7 percentile)

- 31.25 inches long (99.6 percentile)

- head circumference 51 centimeters (100 percentile) 

- very strong willed

- explosion of movement at 9+months. Is in constant motion from the moment he wakes until the second he falls asleep.

- was sick at 9.5 months and hated everything :(

- has finally FINALLY learned to move those chunky legs and crawl

- pulls himself up, but only with enough motivation (like getting to Venom outside the bathtub) 

- roams the house in his walker

- figured out how to open cabinets (uh ohh) 

- if he finds it on the floor, it's going in his mouth.

- annoys Venom by pulling on his tail or face when he's trying to sleep

- has a temper! will throw things when he's angry, and if they don't go far enough he'll grab them to throw them farther

- no sense of self-preservation = not afraid of anything. curiosity > fear

9 Months Old

(super late post, sorry! life keeps us pretty busy)

Ok so I'm starting to feel a little relieved that the height and weight stats didn't change much from last time. I have thus far purchased a completely new wardrobe every 6 weeks because you grow so quickly, but not this time! We get to keep you in 18 month clothing, yay!

- 26.8 pounds (98th percentile)
- 30.75 inches long (100th percentile)
- 48 cm head circumference (100th percentile)
- ridiculous changes in sleep patterns,has decided  there's no time for naps no matter how tired
- impressive barrel rolls in sleep which result in crazy sleep positions
- but mostly likes to sleep on right side cuddling a blanket (just like mom!)
- takes better selfies than the average teenage girl
- still no teeth or signs of teeth...

- can almost get up out of his bathtub (oh no)
- says "mamamamamama" mostly when he's hungry
- still can't crawl :( but gets around the room pretty well spinning in circles and rolling over
- figured out how to get around in a walker
- still has protein sensitivity
- learned how to suck baby food out of the food pouches
- loves grabbing Venom by the sides of his face and biting his nose
- has almost got the hang of waving goodbye
- favorite "toys": dad's keys, nasal aspirator, TV remotes, spoons, nail clippers, water bottles, phone chargers, plastic bags, and anything with the potential danger to poke his eye out or suffocate him.
- least favorite toys: literally EVERY BABY TOY we have ever purchased.
